Course Outcomes

‘Creating and holding space for courageous conversations with young men in schools’ is worth 5 CPD points to Thrive Licensed Practitioners.

Together, we will explore:

  • Attunement to masculinities: Understanding the lived experiences, pressures, and cultural contexts shaping young men's identities today.
  • Self-regulation for educators: Tools and strategies to manage your own emotional responses before and during challenging conversations.
  • Compassionate critique: Approaching problematic ideas with curiosity, care, and a commitment to growth, rather than shame.
  • Centring humanity in disagreement: Maintaining connection and dignity in moments of conflict, while holding space for accountability and reflection.
Whether you're supporting boys and young men of primary or secondary school age, this session invites you to deepen your practice and create space so they feel seen, challenged and supported.

Who is it for?
